Halloween can be a fun time and people can forget its also
very important to follow certain common sense rules, in order
to keep your child safe.
Never leave a lit Jack O' Lantern unattended.
If you are using these in your home place them on a stable
surface, at a sensible distance from anything flammable, and
out of the reach of children.
If your children are trick or treating, always know what streets
they are going to go to. Always make sure at least one adult
is supervising them, whilst they are out. Explain to your
child that a trick should never damage property or be malicious.
Always make sure costumes are appropriate and do not contain
anything toxic or sharp. If masks are being worn, make sure
there are adequate breathing holes and also holes for vision
that do not mean a child cannot see well.
Everyone wants to enjoy the night, make sure that common sense
is used and everyone will have a good time.
